She has three dogs (Maya, Ringo, and Rusty) , two cats (Nopee and Yoda), and a couple of office mascots (Sadie the amazon parrot, Skittles cockatiel, Cheeseburger, the (fat) cat). In her spare time, she loves to travel, swim, hike, and paint. She also enjoys Morgan and Paint horses, bird watching, Carolina wrens, wood turtles, wild blueberries, Argiope spiders, and hiking, especially on the Appalachian Trail, where she has section hiked from the Schuylkill River in PA to Sages Ravine, Massachusetts. She loves companion animal medicine, especially preventive health and geriatric patient care. Dr. Bell has worked at the Canadensis Veterinary Clinic since 1999.
